Sad

Thursday, January 26th, 2006

Our rabbit passed away yesterday. This makes me kind of sad. Even though, to be honest, over the past few years I didn’t nearly enough care for him as I used to in the beginning and I absolutely hated cleaning his cage every other week. But it’s sad that he died after almost 10 years of staying with us. There are many memories connected to him.

Grounding

Tuesday, January 24th, 2006

I’m dying to see the new Swiss movie Grounding. It had a better opening than Titanic had here in Switzerland. The trailer looks really good. Hopefully, I will be able to make time to go the cinema; I think it would be worth it.

Also I’m looking for HQ pictures of Sophia Myles at the Sundance Film Festival. The ones at GettyImages look great. Also if anyone has the stills from the official site of her new movie in better quality would be great. Thanks!

Sales

Monday, January 23rd, 2006

I went to the sales and did some shopping. I was really surprised that I actually liked so many things. I spent about $100 and this is what I bought for it: 3 skirts (high quality woolen fabric!), 2 woolen jackets, 1 Gilet and 1 long-sleeved t-shirt. I really hate shopping usually, so yay me for having made the effort to get some decent clothes!

‘Tristan & Isolde’ - Sophia Myles’ first big starring role - failed to awe critics. Nontheless, I can’t wait to see this as soon as I can. I saw some rare movie stills with Sophia Myles’ Isolde sitting in front of the so-called ‘bee huts’ in West Ireland. When I was on holiday there in May 2004, I myself have visited them. And from what I’ve seen the whole setting of the movie is breathtaking and Sophia’s performance is bound to be stunning.

I’m so glad that Rachel Weisz won a Golden Globe. I’ve always said if either her or Scarlett win I’m happy. And Rachel’s performance in ‘The Constant Gardener’ really was amazing - not to mention she’s a great actress in general. Congratulations Rachel!

Welcome

Welcome to the new version of See the Sun. I’ve cut down on the sections - thus making it complete and hopefully I’ll also update more :) The new layout is made from my own pictures. I have such a large collection of photographs I’ve taken over the past few years that I thought, why not use some for this personal website? The main picture is my all-time favourite…
