How I hate Spam!!! After 3 days of not checking my mail (yay me for that!) I had 172 (!) unread messages - and not none of them was really intended for me. Nothing but spam! I really don’t know what to do about it….

Wives and Daughters

I watched the wonderful mini-series Wives & Daughters again. It is really a very good one and I like the subtle love story between Roger and Molly very much. It’s just a pity it takes almost 6 hours to watch it

I invited 2 friends of mine and cooked lunch for them. It was exciting to entertain visitors! I shall do it more.

I’m sad that P&P didn’t win for Best Original Score at the Oscars. Congratulations to Rachel Weisz however!

Julia Jentsch

I’ve now also seen ‘Sophie Scholl’ and Julia Jentsch has to be on the top of lists of talented actresses. Only because I’m currently trying to bring back my ambitious nature in my private life I can stop myself from opening a page about her or excellent German movies. Well, I also saw ‘Fritz & Friederike’ with the splendid Liselotte Pulver. I find the old German movies the best old movies. And somehow, the wide smile of Lilo reminded me very much of Keira Knightley. Sort of…
