The crazy thing about going on vacation back-to-back is the constant packing and unpacking. But I’m determined to not let that keep me from enjoying my holidays. Only 5 days to go till the next (and for the time being also the last) one….
Nothing is really perfect. But maybe if I adapt my perception of what perfect means, I’ll be more comfortable with what I achieve and how others behave. Definitely when it comes to maintaining sites I have to lower my standards - otherwise I’ll wreck myself. And in the end, for what?! Only for some internet hobby, something kind of surrreal.
After doing the laundry I spent all evening watching some DVD Extras and capping them for the Marion site. Remind me never again to buy Belgian DVDs. Other than the French DVDs they seem to not have any bonus features. So, I have to rent the French ones as well…. What I really should have done last night though is sleeping….
Sometimes I think I should really live in England. If for nothing else then at least for movie reasons. Take e.g. November 10’s theatrical releases: ‘A Good Year‘ (Marion Cotillard), ‘Hallam Foe‘ (Sophia Myles), ‘The Prestige‘ (Scarlett Johansson). I can’t believe these 3 great ladies get their films released in the UK the same day!

After a very productive Sunday my mood is down again. But I will work hard and finish this day being a valuable employee - trying to replace my colleague who is resting at home… for 5 weeks!!! Were it not for my upcoming vacation I’m not sure how much longer I could stand the pressure around here myself….
I feel almost like a plant. There was torrent rain and thunderstorm last night - I loved being out in it and enjoying the electrifying atmosphere! And the temperatures are still agreeable today. I feel like a plant who has been watered….
