Dizzy
Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 | Sites | No Comments
My internet life is once again taking up too much of my time. I’ve always found that the better I can keep up with all my sites, the more plans I have and work on for them, the more I manage to come up with contributions for other people, short the better my internet life the worse I am in real life. I am so far behind keeping up with some important RL tasks it’s not even funny anymore - well, it never really was funny to begin with.
But last week I came to the point where I just wanted to scream when I only thought about what I need/want to do on the sites. So the break that a short trip brought was most welcome. And even now, I need to prioritize!
To make matters worse I still haven’t solved my credit card problem. Well, there isn’t much to solve but I probably made some mistake when initiating the money transfer almost 2 weeks ago - so I’m still waiting for it to arrive on Paypal…. And I’ve started watching Prison Break on DVD. Not very clever because once I start watching a series I can hardly be stopped.
I have tomorrow off and will do my best to do some housework, do some major work on the Marion site (all the stuff I’ve been putting off), reply to emails and comment on sites of my lovelies & if possible finish Prison Break so I will get enough sleep on the following days when I again need to get to work.
Loving CeDe

Once again I’m in love with CeDe!!! I can’t currently use my credit card (meaning no PayPal) which is, I believe, a good thing to prevent me from buying too many DVDs. But, once again, I came back to this online store. It’s located in Switzerland and they ship at no extra cost within country. And - the greatest thing for me right now - they ship with an invoice, so I have more time to come up with the money, which is not really the problem. But I will be able to pay it with the money from the account that is always available.
It may not be the cheapest place to go for regular movies, but if you’re looking for rare ones - or international releases that’s the place to go. Living in a country that also has French and Italian as official languages comes in handy at least at this shop: they sell them pretty much as if they were released here. So, I ordered an Italian DVD - released tomorrow - and I’m not going to say which one, but it will be a super-surprise for one of my sites :yay:
[edit:] I got soo bored with the previous horse-chariot from Jane Eyre I had to come up with a new theme, as quickly as possible. Here we go with pics from Into the Wild. Haven’t been able to keep track how many times I’ve seen that trailer already, I’m in love with that film!!!
Thunderstorm
Monday, July 23rd, 2007 | Personal | 2 Comments
There are torrents of rain coming down at the moment, as well as a big thunderstorm going on. Look at the sheep in front of my window! I’ve watched them for at least 10 minutes now and that’s all they’re doing!!! Occasionally, one’d maybe take a few steps, but then again all of them just freeze. Kind of scary.
Trailers

I’m kind of obsessed with watching trailers (rather than films, which I actually would love to watch more of :weird:) so here another list of films I’d like to see.
Into the Wild: Emile Hirsch I’ve adored since ‘The Emperors’s Club’ and he’s grown into a real man. The film looks visually amazing.
The Watherhorse Legend: Ben Chaplin and Emily Watson + about the only upcoming ‘Fantasy’ movie I feel kind of excited about.
Gone Baby Gone: Ben Affleck’s directorial debut based on a book by the author of Mystic River: sounds good to me. And I’ve always enjoyed watching Casey Affleck.
Margot at the Wedding: Nicole Kidman in a film by Noah Baumbach. He nails complex family relationships. I think this would be a film I’d enjoy watching Nicole - with her it always depends on I don’t know what whether I like her.
The Jane Austen Book Club: Seems like fun + Maria Bello, Emily Blunt and Hugh Dancy.
Vantage Point: I like Dennis Quaid + it seems to be an intelligent action movie. Who knows? Might be fun.
The Sun is out!
Thursday, July 12th, 2007 | Personal | No Comments
The sun is finally out after - I don’t even want to cout how many exactly - many days of grey & rain. I don’t hate the rain but this was really more than enough. Also because it has become a serious proble. Enough rant, have I mentioned the sun is out? Yay!!! But there’s heat coming - which I dread… Another film I want to see: August Rush.
