Sophia Myles

Isn’t Sophia Myles the greatest?! She’s still one of my top-favourite actresses. I never seem to like her less. I can’t believe it’ll be 4 years next Sunday that I’m running a site on her! Yay! Also, I’m very honoured that she’s been in touch a number of times and of course I enjoyed meeting her last June! So, it’s a great honour that she agreed to do a Fan Q&A on the site. I’m still accepting questions - till Wednesday.
So, please send in your questions about her recent projects such as Tristan & Isolde, Hallam Foe, Moonlight, Doctor Who etc or her earlier ones such as Mansfield Park, The Abduction Club, Underworld, Thunderbirds, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, Oliver Twist or about some of her little-known projects such as The Hades Factor, Big Women, Foyle’s War, Money Can Buy You Love, or her theatre appearance or audiobooks. Obviously you can also ask about anything else that comes to mind - just please keep the questions respectful!
Self-conscious

I’ve never given much thought to my appearance - apart from a natural desire to look good. Now, I’ve developed a horrible rash which has spread to the whole face. And it is something that people can’t help noticing when they see me. It has made me really appreciate my former looks lol. And when I was getting to work this morning and making my way through the rush hour crowd I felt as if everybody was staring at me…
Don’t know exactly the reason for my rash… I didn’t eat anything new, don’t have a lot of stress (in fact, I’ve been enjoying having less stress than a couple of weeks ago) and I don’t think I’ve been exposed to anything that could cause an allergic reaction. But then, you never know…
It might be something called the ‘fifth-disease’. Something usually only kids aged 5-15 get. I suppose there’s an exception to everything. My little brother brought home a letter from school that the disease was making its rounds there. And since you can suffer from it without actually showing any outward symptoms it could be likely that my brother had it and gave it to me. This is my favourite diagnosis since in that case the rash should go away soon without me having to do much about it - other than keep it dry, stay in, stay out of the sun and keep my stress levels down. At least, it isn’t itchy and I don’t have any fever!
Just Like War

Boy am I glad did I choose to not go to the city center on Saturday! It was just like war! Innocent bypassers got stones and bottles thrown at them! And the riots made yesterday’s cover of the New York Times! What is happening next?!
Addicted

I’ve seen the first episode of Moonlight - and already am anxious to see the next one (airing tonight)! I’m addicted. Granted, this isn’t top-quality filmmaking (as e.g. Hallam Foe is) but the show looks soo good, I love its visual style, Sophia and Alex have such great chemistry as Mick and Beth, I love their fated releationship and I can’t help not being intrigued by the living-a-mistery-double-life element. Enough to keep me watching!
