Considering selling websites

I’ve shamefully been neglecting this blog. Truth is I almost never had interesting enough topics to blog about and whenever I did I lacked motivation to spell out my thoughts on here. I’m still not sure what I’ll do with this place, though it seems clear I’ll make it a lot smaller.

Site-wise I’m only sure about SophiaMyles.org and Marion-Cotillard.org - and of course Claire-Foy.org. I’ll definitely be keeping them and still love not only the actresses but also running the sites. What about Emily & Catalina? I still really like the actresses, though keeping the sites feels more like a chore than something I really want to.

If I’m going to keep Emily it’s mostly because I’ve already spent so much money on my extensive magazine collection about her and feel like I owe it to myself to at least put that to good use, meaning scanning & uploading them. Additionally, I also have a ton of HQ public appearance pictures and of course it took a long time to cap almost all of her movies. It’d be a shame to waste that and I still bought her recent DVDs which I wouldn’t have were it not for the site. Finally, there’s no other resource about her.

Catalina, I really like tremendously as an actress and person. She’s shamefully underrated and has been stellar in everything I’ve seen her in. As with Emily, there’s no other resource about her and I feel like I owe it to Catalina or at least Riikka who originally set the site up so nicely not to abandon it. And of course as with all of my websites I’ve invested a lot, money & time, for magazines and DVDs as well as capping etc.

In both cases the websites would need new layouts as I’m so sick of  the current ones. They’ve been up for so long and just seeing them takes my motivation away. In any case, running Marion and Sophia takes up a lot of time already and I do have a very busy life apart from internet so I’m not sure if it’s even wise to contemplate keeping additional sites.

As for Fragment of Light, well, as it’s not specific about one movie, or actor etc I would definitely like to keep it as a pleasant pastime. However, as long as I have pressure of the outdated Emily & Catalina sites I don’t think running it feels pleasant. Which is in fact, why I’ve neglected it all year long.

Additionally, a TON of magazines and unsorted HQ Public Appearance pics. If you want you can even buy Transsiberian, Redbelt, Chaos Theory and a few older projects of hers on DVD at a good price.
