Hair Fashion in the 80ies
Monday, June 23rd, 2008 | Film, TV
I watched the 1981 BBC adaptation of ‘Sense & Sensibility’. Quite horrible in some ways - esp. characters’ hair - but all in all not terribly bad. But the actress who played the supposedly spirited Marianne was really really bland. Anyway, I had to rewatch the 2008 adaptation right afterwards. This one is really close to perfect and I fell all over in love with it again.
PS: How can a film like Before it had a name be rated PG-13 while other films such as ‘Ghost World’ are rated R???!!

I really want to see the new version of Sense & Sensibility mainly because Dominic Cooper plays Willoughby and I love Dom!
I don’t understand film ratings sometimes!
Ah, I haven’t seen the 2008 version, only Ang Lee’s 1995 movie, which I find mostly irritating (thank you very much, Hugh Grant). Luckily, Alan Rickman saves almost any movie.
