Doctor Who
Thursday, December 14th, 2006 | Film
Last week, over the course of 4 evenings, I watched the entire Season 2 of the British television series ‘Doctor Who’. David Tennant’s performance is absolutely great. His doctor drew me right in, his passion, energy, love of life, moral strength, humour, etc. He’ll be the reason to watch Season 3. And Billie Piper makes you feel like you’re travelling with the doctor. Her Rose is attractive - certainly - and yet a kind of regular person, so rather than envy her you feel like becoming best friends with her.
She’s the reason I bought the Season 1 DVDs. Now, the past 3 evenings I’ve again been absorbed by travelling in time and space. Christopher Eccleston sure had his charms and talents as the Doctor and I’ve come to like him. However, when at the end David Tennant’s 10th doctor came up on the screen I knew who my favourite doctor is!
